Who can resist a smocked dress that comes together during the babe’s nap time?

This pattern was named after my wee niece Violet.

Materials: Thread, 1/8” elastic, 1/4” elastic (for bloomers), water soluble marking pen, or pencil, and embroidery floss.

Suggested Fabrics: batiste, voile, dotted swiss, organdy, silk, any fine (thin) fabric
